You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and create a welcoming and reassuring environment for patients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and efficient blood draws on patients of all ages.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
  • Provide clear and compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to strict quality control standards and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred.
