- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer questions, and build rapport to create a positive experience.
- Phlebotomy: Perform accurate and efficient blood draws from a variety of patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality control standards and follow established procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data entry.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Experience in a patient service center environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
