Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeLocation: Valhalla, NYDuration: 3+ months ContractWork Type: OnsitePay Range: $20 - $21/hrShift: 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm every other SaturdayAbout the Role:As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll be the friendly face of our company, interacting with patients during routine check-ups and critical health decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include:Blood Drawing: Accurately and efficiently drawing blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.Specimen Preparation: Preparing blood specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.Patient Interaction: Building rapport with patients, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing any concerns or questions.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and blood draws.What We're Looking For:Phlebotomy Expertise: Proven experience in phlebotomy, including skills in pediatric and geriatric blood draws.Customer Service Focus: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free work.Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in specific states).Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMedical assistant or paramedic trainingMinimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experienceCustomer service experience in a retail or service environmentProficiency in keyboard and data entryBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout The Company:Leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives.
