About the Role: As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients and ensuring a positive experience. Your primary responsibilities will include drawing blood samples accurately and efficiently, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy: Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Specimen Collection: Collect and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Patient Interaction: Greet and interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification is preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
- Skills: Strong phlebotomy skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
