Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (Traveler)Contract Duration: 12 MonthsLocation: Presque Isle, MEShift: Flexible, Day Shift (05:00 AM - 13:30 PM, 06:00 AM - 2:30 PM, or 08:30 AM - 17:00 PM) with rotating weekends.About the Role:As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients and ensuring a positive experience. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples, processing specimens, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Prepare and process blood samples for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states).
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
