We want your knowledge and expertise!In this role you will:* Properly collect and process specimens for in-house and reference laboratory testing.* Maintain strict safety and infection control techniques at all times.* Identify patients and their personal information by reviewing their identity documents.* Analyze blood specimens using correct testing equipment, when necessary.* Prepare specimens for transportation, including labeling vials accurately and matching blood specimens to patients.* Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment used in the drawing and testing of blood specimens.* Order Laboratory supplies, as needed.* Practice, develop, and endorse customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.Job Requirements:* High School diploma or equivalent required* Annual BLS required* Phlebotomy experience preferred* Successful completion of phlebotomy training programHCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital.
