**Employment Type:**Part time**Shift:**Day Shift**Description:**Responsible for the collecting of laboratory specimens in a safe, accurate way according to laboratory collection policy and all clerical functions involved with specimen accessioning. Responsible for distribution of laboratory results, when necessary. Responsible to take on additional clerical duties as time permits.**Oceana County- Shelby, Michigan**+ High school graduate required. Associates preferred.+ Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.+ Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.+ Phlebotomy experience preferred.+ Department operation provides 24-hour coverage, 365 days per year, which may require working a variety of shifts and days of the week.+ Must be able to be reached at home by telephone.+ Valid Driver's License**Language Skills:**+ Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.+ Additional languages preferred.**Skills:**+ Basic computer knowledge.+ Phlebotomy**Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion**Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
