Our mission is to advance the health and wellbeing of our communities as a leader in clinical laboratory solutions.LOCATION: Requires travel in both Nassau and Suffolk countiesHOURS: 7:00am - 4:00pm; Monday - Friday with alternating SaturdaysFULL TIME: benefits eligibleIn this role, you will:Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused servicePerform venipuncture on patients of all agesCollect/prepare non-blood specimensEnsure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test orderingWork closely with Phlebotomy management to oversee the daily activities of the territoryAssist with training new hiresProvide backup coverage to the Phlebotomy SupervisorAssist with monthly reportsAddress errors, redraws and QA with Phlebotomists and conduct retraining as necessaryAll you need is:High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious phlebotomy experience, minimum 1 yearPrevious team lead experience, a plusExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to analyze, solve problems and make evaluative judgmentsStrong computer and data entry skills, including knowledge of ExcelSalary Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour (depending on experience).
