Phone Room Customer Service Representative As an Orthopedic Phone Room Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling, rescheduling and canceling patient appointments. Completing tasks such as scheduling in house MRI's, DME appointments, transferring calls to the correct departments and sorting faxes. As a Phone Room Customer Service Representative, you are the first point of contact with potential patients and work as their own person scheduling agent. Calls are answered one at a time through a multifunctional switchboard called Webex. We use scheduling software Nextgen and Phoenix. Customer Service Representative Requirements:
- Have a positive and upbeat attitude at all times
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Word
- Ability to work effectively with customers and your coworkers while handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience scheduling in a medical office environment
- Thorough understanding of medical office workflows
- 1 year of experience working with EHR
