Our online retailer client is looking for a Photo Retoucher (Product). This is a freelance role, for 40 hours/week, starting as early as the week of 8/26 and through the end of the year. There is potential to convert for the right fit. You will sit on the client's Studio team, which is a function of the internal Creative team. These teams function like an agency and service two brands within the company. This role is ONSITE in Eden Prarie. Photo Retoucher (Product) Requirements: o Product background; experience building consumer products from blanks o Experience using Smart Objects, Capture1 and Photoshop o Experience working with large volume libraries (e.g., 400 photos) and applying broad stroke edits (i.e., color, dust, scratch, straightening) Photo Retoucher (Product) Responsibilities: Three Types of of retouching: 1. Heavy retouching: Photographer will shoot blanks and Retoucher will build out product from scratch using Smart Objects 2. Library shoots Photographer will capture large volume of content (e.g., 400 images) and Retoucher will execute broad stroke retouching, i.e., color pass, remove dust = scratches, straighten image. Then, Retoucher will publish library up for designers to select small batch (e.g., 15 images) 3.
