Chabad of NEQueens STREAM School: Early Learning Center & Academy -

STREAM EARLY LEARNING CENTER & ACADEMY is seeking a dynamic and passionate part time Physical Education Teacher to start immediately.

The Physical Education Teacher/Specialist is responsible for organizing innovative games and challenges that promote physical activity for students in grades K-8. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, and proper exercise habits among all students. The teacher should be creative, flexible, and engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year minimum classroom or camp experience (preferred)
• Be creative, thoughtful, self-reflective, problem solver, & lifelong learner.
• Be willing to collaborate with partner teachers and across disciplines in the creation of meaningful, engaging, and real-world learning experiences for students.
• Have a constructivist approach to education.
• Possess strong classroom management skills rooted in positive discipline and responsive classroom practices.
• Have strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills fostering a positive environment and relationships with students and the school leadership team.
