A Brief OverviewReceives, maintains and distributes materials, supplies, equipment and merchandise. Maintains receiving records and historical receiving data in accordance with established policies and procedures.
What you will do- Receives, stores, maintains and distributes materials, supplies, equipment and merchandise in accordance with established policies and procedures. •Receives and properly distributes all materials, stock items and supplies. •Verifies that inventory received is in good condition and listed on invoices and purchased orders. •Resolves receiving discrepancies and provide research for invoice discrepancies. •Receives and delivers items to designated areas and obtains authorized signature for receipt of merchandise. •Utilizes computer and RF scanning device to input and retrieve information and documents.
- Interacts and works collaboratively with other departments, medical/hospital staff, and delivery drivers. Maintains positive working relationships. Answers inquiries and provides information and assistance as required.
- Prepares and maintains required reports, records and files for compliance and administrative purposes.
- Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Maintains safety and security procedures.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Maintains safety and security procedures.
- Shares responsibilities and provides coverage for relief and absences within material management as required
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Previous warehouse, storage or receiving experience Preferred
