Job Description
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
- Work location: Onsite; Santa Rosa, CA
- Compensation: $40 to $49 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement the physical therapy treatment plan designed by the supervising PT.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
- Use various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as heat/cold therapy, massage, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation, to promote healing and relieve pain.
- Observe and document the patient's responses to treatments and exercises, noting any changes in their condition.
- Report progress or concerns to the supervising PT, providing detailed feedback to help adjust the treatment plan if necessary.
- Record patient information, treatments provided, and progress using appropriate documentation systems.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities that support their recovery, both in therapy sessions and at home.
- Teach patients how to use mobility aids such as crutches, canes, walkers, or wheelchairs.
Job RequirementsEducation Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- At least 1 year relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
