ODD Fellows Home of Massachusetts - Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assists in the planning, development, organization and implementation of physical therapy as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
- Participates in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, etc., as necessary.
- Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports and monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with Rehab Director.
- Prepares resident for treatment and administers physical therapy in accordance with established policies and procedures which includes one on one, supervised and group treatment.
- Assures that all notes are informative and descriptive of the care provided and of the residents response to the care. Documents residents progress towards meeting established goals.
- Consistently demonstrates an awareness and concern for the safety, property, and confidentiality of patients, visitors, and co-workers.
- Provides privacy and maintains the confidentiality of all resident/patient care information.
