We are looking for a fulltime and PRN PTAs in Northcentral/Northeast San Antonio to provide coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist in the home as prescribed by the attending Provider.Educational Requirements:
- graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
Licensing/Certification/Registration Requirements:
- current PTA license issued by the State of Texas and current CPR

Physical Requirements:

- able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to prospective patients residences
Responsibilities:
- administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist
- administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities to patients
- applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities
- promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary
- must have a reliable means of transportation, proof of financial responsibility (car insurance and a valid state drivers license)
