As a Physical Therapist Assistant, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our PTA Staff enjoy a flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, etc.
Requirements:
* Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (CAPTE)
* Physical Therapist Assistant License issued by the State of Tennessee
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
About the Job:
* Under the direction and supervision of Physical Therapists, treat patients through exercise, massage gait, balance training, education and other therapeutic interventions in accordance with State Regulation and departmental policies.
* Record the patient's progress and report the results of each treatment to the Physical Therapist.
* Communicates regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members and others involved with the patient's care.
* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
