Job Description
As a Physical Therapist, at Merit Health River Region, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!
Duties Include:
* Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific physical therapy treatment program.
* Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment program to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner.
* Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).
* Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff.
* Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group.
* Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
* 1 year of experience with Pediatric and Adults preferred.
* Current Physical Therapist MS state license.
* BLS certification required.
