The staff Physical Therapist reports directly to the Director of Physical Therapy, and has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff and students in their area of the physical therapy department/facility. Must foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Physical Therapy Coordinator the scheduling of patients for treatment and evaluation.
- Preparation of reports and records by department/facility personnel.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for the department/facility.
- Supervise Staff and Student Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistants within their area.
- Responsible for the evaluation of all patients referred for Physical Therapy.
- Responsible for completion and submission of all reports pertaining to the evaluation.
- Ensure that all referral sources are advised of department/facility action with the case referred.
- Practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the department/facility.
- Confer with the person(s) most closely associated with the active management of the patient and to keep them informed of any additional patient needs, treatment modification, and/or progress.
- Treat patients and function as a Staff Physical Therapist as necessary.
- Respect and understand the patient's right to treatment and right to involvement in treatment decisions.
- Practice in a highly ethical manner that complies with sound business practices and applicable law.

Education and Qualifications:
- Current or able to obtain Colorado State Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school physical therapy in the United States. Advanced physical therapy related health field degree
- Previous experience working in community healthcare is preferred
- Ability to successfully pass drug screening and background check
