Job Description:

A reputable healthcare provider in Brooklyn is looking for Physical Therapists to join their team in the following locations: Marine Park, Park Slope, Gravesend, Midwood, or Mill Basin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy practices and a passion for helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life. You will work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises and provide manual therapy to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance physical function.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities that promote overall health and well-being.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress.
  • Provide guidance on the use of therapeutic equipment and assistive devices to enhance patient independence.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT); Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent (Required)
  • Physical Therapy License (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
