Job Description: A Physical Therapist, or Physiotherapist, is a healthcare professional focused on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall physical health. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, diagnostic assessments, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Consultation - Engage with patients to understand their physical condition and limitations.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret test results to assess mobility, pain, and functional abilities.
Treatment Planning & Implementation - Develop and tailor treatment plans using a variety of techniques, such as exercises, stretches, and other therapies.
- Design fitness-oriented healthcare programs based on individual patient needs and goals.
Therapeutic Interventions - Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to manage pain and enhance mobility.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques to support rehabilitation and maintain progress.
Patient & Family Education - Provide guidance on in-home care, injury prevention, and ergonomic practices to avoid further strain.
- Educate patients and their families on ways to promote long-term physical health.
Collaboration & Documentation - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document each patient’s care history accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
