Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking an opportunity to make a difference? The Advocacy & Resource Center is seeking a Part-Time, licensed Physical Therapist registered with the New York State Board of Licensure, with a passion for providing care to individuals with disabilities. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct formal physical therapy assessments. Develop and oversee implementation of Physical Therapy programs. Promptly respond to special reviews and injury investigations. Work within an Article 16 Clinic , following OPWDD guidelines. Participate in team meetings and ensure accurate documentation of treatment. Implement and revise programs as needed for optimal patient outcomes. Evaluate participants for wheelchairs and coordinate equipment repairs. Obtain prescriptions and write justification letters for durable medical equipment repairs. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and community agencies. Requirements: New York State Board of Licensure registration as a Physical Therapist. Minimum one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably with individuals with disabilities. A clean driving record.
