Job Description:A Physical Therapist, or Physiotherapist, is a healthcare professional focused on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall physical health. They work with individuals of all ages to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery, prevent future injuries, and enhance quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, diagnostic assessments, and a compassionate approach to patient care.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Consultation- Engage with patients to understand their physical condition and limitations.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret test results to assess mobility, pain, and functional abilities.
Treatment Planning & Implementation- Develop and tailor treatment plans using a variety of techniques, such as exercises, stretches, and other therapies.
- Design fitness-oriented healthcare programs based on individual patient needs and goals.
Therapeutic Interventions- Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to manage pain and enhance mobility.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques to support rehabilitation and maintain progress.
Patient & Family Education- Provide guidance on in-home care, injury prevention, and ergonomic practices to avoid further strain.
- Educate patients and their families on ways to promote long-term physical health.
Collaboration & Documentation- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document each patient's care history accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
