What You'll Do: As a Physical Therapist in Early Intervention, you will work with children from birth to age three in family homes and community settings, providing assessment, treatment planning, and direct services. Collaborating with families, you will create Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child's needs and goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home and community-based services to support children's developmental goals
- Collaborate with families to develop IFSPs that align with their priorities and desired outcomes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of each child's functioning and developmental needs
- Assist families in obtaining necessary equipment through documentation for insurance support
- Work with the interdisciplinary EI team to complete Developmental Assessments, including the Battelle Developmental Inventory
- Document activities, assessments, and progress reports to support each child's journey
