Summary of Position:#Evaluates patient and resident treatment needs, plans treatment programs, and performs and/or supervises treatment. Primary Job Responsibilities:#Must be able to demonstrate effective and appropriate written and oral communication skills in the English language.# Exchanges ideas, information and opinions with others to formulate interdisciplinary plans of care and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions or solutions.# Must be able to read and understand scientific and technical journals and abstracts in the rehabilitation and related fields.# Must be able to effectively write technical/professional documentation and correspondence.# Must be able to apply the principles of algebra and statistical analysis to financial and statistical information.# When providing patient/resident evaluation and treatment, must be able to use body members, tools or special devices to work, move, guide or place objects, people or materials.# Must be able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.# Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions, mathematical or diagrammatic form.# Deals with several abstract and concrete variables. Demonstrates an understanding of human development in order to effectively evaluate and treat patients of all ages for diagnoses the individual is competent to evaluate and treat. Minimum Qualifications:#Degree in physical therapy. Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State as a physical therapist.##Outpatient experience preferred.#Experience or interest in lymphedema, pelvic therapy, or vestibular rehab is a plus.# Salary Range: $34.00 - $52.01 Pay Grade: RT1 Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
