Location: Attleboro,MA, USA
Performs evaluations of referred patients, then plans and implements exercise and treatments to rehabilitate the physical faculties of both in and out patients; functions within the policies, practice guidelines, procedures and physician directives of SMA and the department of Ambulatory Care in accordance with State Practice Acts.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct the provision of care appropriate to the age of patients served
* Demonstrates knowledge of the principals of growth and development
* Able to assess and interpret data reflective of the client's status
* Provides and directs care outlined in standards, policies and procedures
* SMH orientation required
* Command of verbal and written English
* Leadership management abilities
* Operation of clinical equipment
* Demonstrates clinical competence
* Positive interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
* Acute care therapy experience
* New graduates accepted
Educational Requirements:
* Graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
* DPT program in Physical Therapy preferred
License/Certification:
* Current MA licensure
