Job Description:Full Time / 40 hours weeklyThe Physical Therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients.
- Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
- Maintain communication with doctors and other health professionals.
- Complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
- Assist with the education of affiliated students, the department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.
- Appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
- Participate in the departmental operational plan.
- Intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired physical, mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
- No Experience Required
- Prefer acute care job experience
- Eligible for a temporary license or Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy
- Must obtain BLS within 3 months of hire
