Job DescriptionFunctions independently and consistently in the delivery of quality care to physical therapy patients in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, department policies and procedures, and standards of practice. Evaluates patients, plans and implements treatment programs, and documents all treatment accurately. Works in conjunction with other members of the health care team to ensure patient needs are met. Educates patients and families. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.Required SkillsKnowledge of physical therapy principles and procedures.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good problem-solving ability in order to determine the best methods to address patient problems.Required ExperienceWork Experience: None.License/Registration/Certification: Current Texas license or eligible for licensure.Current CPR certificationEducation and Training:Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent education if trained outside of U.S.). Master's Degree preferred.
