As part of our commitment to supporting the holistic development of our students, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team.

Position Overview: The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services to students with a wide range of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and mobility challenges. The Physical Therapist will assess students' physical abilities, develop individualized education plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence in the educational environment. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' academic and social participation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough evaluations of students' physical abilities, including assessments of strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.

* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, student goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.

* Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, gait training, and use of assistive devices.

* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the student's educational program and support their participation in classroom and extracurricular activities.

* Monitor and document student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

* Provide consultation, training, and support to school staff and parents on strategies for promoting students' physical development, safety, and independence.

* Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and other collaborative discussions to review student progress, set goals, and make recommendations for interventions.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

* Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

* Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting preferred.

* Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and practices, including motor development, gait training, and therapeutic techniques.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to the needs of diverse students.
