We value your unique skills and contributions in fostering the well-being and development of our young students.Position Overview:Join us as a Physical Therapist and play a crucial role in providing direct therapy as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs). Your responsibilities include ongoing skill evaluation, assessing new students, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, such as daily notes, IEP updates, and justification letters when necessary.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy sessions based on assigned caseload and IEP requirements.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of students' skills.
- Perform initial evaluations for new students.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including daily notes and letters of justification.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists for effective consultation.
- Fit and maintain equipment as needed.
- Attend team meetings to contribute to a transdisciplinary approach.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Experience in a preschool or pediatric setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility in scheduling to cover approximately 15 sessions per week plus one team meeting.
