Schedule Details:* Full/Part-Time or Per-Diem* Weekend availability a plus, not required!Oneida Health s Extended Care Facility (ECF) is a 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that strives to provide the highest level of quality care for residents. Whether they come for long-term care or short-term rehabilitation needs our staff at ECF strive to help improve the resident s overall quality of life, with lots of opportunities for enjoyment, stimulation, and growth. *We offer EXCELLENT benefits including a 403(b) with a match, Tuition Reimbursement, generous PTO, No Deductible Health Insurance, & much more!** Physical Therapist, PT is responsible for evaluating, planning, & providing physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with written prescription from a qualified provider* Assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained* In the case of Direct Access, the physical therapist will evaluate, plan, & provide treatment within the guidelines set forth regarding Direct Access.* Physical Therapist, PT will participate in discharge planning, development & implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments (MDS), etc. as necessary* Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as outlined by the State Physical Therapy Practice Act as well as Physical Therapy Aides & clerical employees assigned to the service* Maintain treatment records, resident files, & progress notes as required; adequately liaise with families & residents*Requirements** Current license & registration to practice as a Physical Therapist, PT in the State of NY* Master s Degree in Physical Therapy (Preferred)* Bachelor s Degree & relevant experience may be considered* Physical Therapy Experience: 1+ years (Required)* Energetic, enthusiastic, committed, & passionate about quality care* Interested in helping variety of patients of all ages who are ill, injured, &/or disabled* Excellent communication, customer service, & organization skills* Able to demonstrate patience & empathy* Trusted to work independently & in a team environment* Work well under pressure & will work harmoniously with all staff* Good knowledge of anatomy and physiology, neurology & socioeconomic factors affecting a patient s disabilities* Computer skills relative to electronic records, charting, & auditing* BLS/CPR CertificationJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemPay: $46.00 - $55.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceHealthcare setting:* Inpatient* Long term care* Nursing home* Rehabilitation centerMedical specialties:* Geriatrics* Physical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule:* Day shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
