Job Description:

This position is in Laredo, TX. Sign-On Bonus available. Relocation assistance up to $5,000.00.

Performs physical therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.

Essential Job Functions:

1) Performs physical therapy assessment once physician's orders are received

2) Provides written evaluation and plan of care to the physician

3) Reassesses patient monthly to update plan of care

4) Supervises PTAs and other support staff

5) Must continously improve PT knowledge & skills.

6) Must perform adequate wound care assessments and treatment under physician order

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy.
  • TX State Physical Therapy License required.
  • One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
  • Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
