Job Title:Physical Therapist Supervisor -$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Job Type:Full-time(Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week. Will further discuss schedule during interview.)

Job Location: 672 Parkside Avenue, 4th floor, Brooklyn, NY (Lefferts Gardens; outpatient clinic)

Salary Description:$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist Supervisor responsibilities include ...

  • Coordinates and conducts regular staff meetings to disseminate new department information, educate PT staff on new trends in PT and hear issues in the department and plan solutions.
  • Coordinates and participates in educational staff performance improvement in-services. Assists with orientation and in-service training for department staff members. Participates in guidance and educational programs.
  • Collaborates with fellow supervisors and provides leadership to a large team to achieve clinical excellence in patient care.
  • Assists Clinic Director in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain within budget guidelines as assigned.
  • Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
  • Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person.
  • Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
  • Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
  • Medical specialties at the clinic include ortho.
  • Adults outpatient caseload.
Qualifications:
  • NYS Physical Therapist License
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
  • Basic computer skills
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a full-time licensed physical therapist working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
