Our Agency provides services throughout the state including, Huntsville, Decatur, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile. Right at Home is not a traditional home care agency we are not Medicare regulated so there is no OASIS documentation.

This is NOT your typical home care job at a traditional home care agency. We are only looking for nurses who obsess over making sure the client is succeeding. If this is you, please keep reading further.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay (Enter in pay range | $50.00- $65.00 a visit)
    • Pay may vary by location, level of training and type of shift

  • Must Haves:
  • PTA with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
  • 2 years of nursing experience (home health/hospice preferred)
  • PTA must possess and maintain current CPR certification

Our Physical Therapy Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.+ Be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA in the state of employment.+ A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.+ A minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred.INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS1. Treats patients after the evaluation has been performed by a Registered Physical Therapist.2. Participates in in-service training for clinical staff.3. Consult with the physical therapist regarding the patients progress and plan of care.4. Interacts with other departments involved with individual patients regarding patient's progress.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Adheres to the code of ethics of the APTA.2. Reports to the staff Physical Therapists/Clinical Director concerning Physical Therapy matters.3. Carries out the physical therapy procedures according to the Plan of Care of the Registered Physical Therapist.4. Covers instructions for home treatment programs through consultation with the Registered Physical Therapist.5. Maintains proper equipment and supplies which might benefit the patient.6. Maintains proper attitude of encouragement toward the patient without giving false hope.7. Counsels patient and/or family on special problems with advice from the Registered Physical Therapist.8. Helps the patient become physically, emotionally, and socially independent.9. Utilizes proper procedures which will be in keeping with good patient care10. Submit in writing to the Registered Physical Therapist/Supervisor on duty, any recorded incident or accident with patient or employee as it occurs.11. Documents on all patients' treatments received according to the policies and procedures of the physical therapy department.
