Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Assists patients in preparing for therapy and return trip. Assists with dressing and undressing and removing and putting on braces or supportive equipment, prostheses or crutches.
  • Records data progress during therapy sessions.
  • Measures and tracks range of motion.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Answers inquiries.
  • Orders supplies.
  • Straightens and cleans rooms.
  • Assists patients with keeping track of counting exercises.
  • Cleans and prepares equipment for therapy sessions.

  • Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis position works in the patient physical therapy wing in a health care/rehabilitative setting. Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with expected work hours of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekends are also necessary on a rotating basis. Physical RequirementsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves continually during working hours. The position is subject to lifting objects weighing over 50 pounds, pushing wheel chairs, and transporting and supporting residents. The employee must be constantly alert for resident safety.
