Physical Therapy AssistantDescription of the role:As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Neulife Rehabilitation, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring progress. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain their strength, functionality, and mobility.Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in performing patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, massage, and other physical therapy modalities
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and proper techniques for safe and effective recovery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
