Physical Therapy Assistant (Full-Time) Yonkers, NY $35-40/HR W2 A respected provider of rehabilitation services in Yonkers, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life, this opportunity is perfect for you Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercise instruction, mobility training, and the use of therapeutic modalities. Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any significant changes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and families on exercises, activities, and strategies to continue progress outside of therapy sessions. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring proper use of therapy equipment. Communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team to ensure cohesive care and patient outcomes. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of New York. Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team.
