Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our physical therapists to support our residents' rehabilitation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Observe residents and write progress reports.
• Evaluate residents' ability to function independently.
• Assist residents with exercises and equipment, including stretches and massages.
• Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility.
• Contribute positively to the team effort and overall care environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current New York State PTA license.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus!
