*Maxima Therapy is looking for full-time or part-time, creative and committed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)* to join our transdisciplinary therapy team comprised of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, child development specialists, and assistants.The position entails a flexible work schedule, providing individual services to children ages from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays at clients' homes and/or daycares. *We offer competitive rates starting from $55 per hour and an excellent benefits package for eligible employees which includes: medical insurance, 401K, sick time, paid vacation, and a flexible schedule.* All of our clients are located in Fresno County, CA.*PTA Duties:** 1:1 treatment in clients' homes or daycare settings* Provide parent education and support* Collaborate with team members* Take/submit progress notes as required*PTA Minimum Requirements:** California PTA license* Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license* Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current, negative TB test* Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented* Previous pediatric treatment experience preferred* Multilingual speaking/reading/writing skills are a plus*Physical Requirements:** Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child-sized* Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required* Sudden and quick movements may be required* Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting,* Reaching above the head, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds* Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutesDesirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skill.For more information about Maxima Therapy and our services, please visit our website at: www.maximatherapy.com.
