Manhasset, NY. The ideal Physical Therapist (PT) will possess strong communication and critical thinking skills, along with a compassionate and student-centered approach to care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to a group of students with specific mobility or physical challenges, supporting their ability to participate fully in school activities. Your duties will include assessing the student's physical abilities, developing and implementing tailored intervention plans, assisting with mobility, and monitoring progress toward therapeutic goals. You will collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and the students healthcare team to integrate therapeutic activities into the school day and ensure the student's physical needs are met. Your ability to adapt interventions to the school environment, maintain accurate documentation, and provide consistent, attentive care will be key in helping the student achieve their full potential in the educational setting.Job Requirements:
- 2 Years experience in a public-school setting
- Certified Physical Therapist
