About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Landmark Hospital of Columbia LLC, MO02. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, (PRN)you will be responsible for assisting our Physical Therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Your primary goal will be to help our patients regain their physical strength and mobility, and improve their overall quality of life. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, and monitor their progress throughout their rehabilitation journey. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Missouri
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Voluntary Insurance Programs
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy weights
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Skills:As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will use your knowledge of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to assist our Physical Therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will need to have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also need to have strong organizational skills to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, and monitor their progress throughout their rehabilitation journey. In addition, you will need to have the physical ability to lift and carry heavy weights, and excellent eye-hand coordination to perform various therapeutic exercises. Finally, you will need to have a strong sense of compassion and a passion for helping others, as this is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep commitment to patient care.
