We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced APRN or PA to join our team in Nassau County, NY. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to orthopedic patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. Flexible work schedule - 4 days per week.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Registered Nurse certification.
- New York State licensure as an APRN or PA.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics (preferred). Prior operating room (OR) experience is a must.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons in the operating room (OR) for orthopedic procedures.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
