SpineSearch is seeking a highly motivated physician assistant to join a leading medical center in their neurosurgery department. This provider will be managing complex stroke and cerebrovascular disease patient care.
Position is full time, Monday through Friday - offers a competitive salary based on experience, a full suite of benefits, and room for growth.
Requirements of the Physician Assistant:
- New York Physician Assistant license
- Board certification
- Must have experience in neurosurgery or related specialty
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and collaboratively with members of the hospitals interdisciplinary cerebrovascular disease care teams and in outpatient office environment
- Support neuro-endovascular procedures in operating room
- Daily rounds on neuro-endovascular procedure patients
- Pre-operative and post-operative work
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- See patients in outpatient clinic setting
- First assist in OR and various neurovascular procedures
