Physician Assistant (PA) in Cardiology is a skilled person qualified by academic and practical training to provide patient services under the supervision and direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab Interventionalist who is responsible for the performance of that physician assistant.
Education Required: Graduate from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) approved Physician Assistant Program License(s) Required: - Current Registration by New York State Department of Education
- Certification by the National Commission of Certified Physician
Experience/Skills: Physician Assistant in Cardiology/Cath lab Experience Preferred BCLS, ACLS, Certification required Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital Orientation Program Mental and physical health to meet the demands of the position
