Physician Assistant physician employment in North Carolina : As a Physician Assistant (Neurology) your duties will include, but are not limited to: - Providing Neurology services to inpatients and outpatients within the community under the direction of a Physician. - Examining, diagnosing and treating walk-in and clinic appointment patients with Neurological disorders. - Prescribing medication for common neurological diseases and common neurological disorders including headache syndrome. - Ordering, collecting, and performing appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures and studies including, but not limited to, blood and tissue specimens. - Ordering and performing diagnostic studies such as electromyography (EMG), electrocardiograms, compartment pressure measurements, and examinations including special x-ray examinations, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and bone scans. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
