Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner Dulles, VAPay From: $51/HRMUST:Experienced Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner2 plus years of professional experience as a Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner2 plus years of experience in primary care, urgent care, and/or occupational health practiceKnowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADAKnowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codingProficient with medical software applications (electronic health records system, patient scheduling, billing, insurance)Proficient with office software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation publishing, email)Unrestricted license or license eligibility as an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) as set forth by the state of VirginiaUnrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Nurse Practitioner)Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Lifesaving (BLS) certificateDOT certification preferred and maintained during employmentGraduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master s degree DUTIES:Perform medical exams on workers required to have the exam per their employerPerform patient histories, physical exams, and preventative screeningsPerform, order, and interpret diagnostic tests in consultation with provider teamFormulate diagnoses, and identify problems and health risksExercise independent judgement in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients commensurate with training and experienceCommunicate directly with employers regarding mandated exams as well as injury careProvide information, education and support to patients and familiesCollaborate with other members of the care teamDocument effectively and in a timely mannerWilling to receive additional training, as needed, and remain current on skills necessary for positionWilling to perform front/back-office tasks as neededAttend meetings, in-services, and participate in staff development, as requiredPerform other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
