Work Dates Needed: ASAP, Ongoing, 40 hours per week.
Preferred Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Scope of Work: Perform examinations, diagnose medical issues, prescribe medications, and provide treatment. Conduct clinical rounds and minor surgical procedures. Collaborate with the Health Services Supervisor and oversee the medical program. Participate in treatment team meetings and develop health plans. Evaluate medical services for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and catastrophic illnesses. Ensure medical records are secure and compliant. Facilitate accreditation processes as needed (NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO). Respond to emergencies, engage in safety checks, and manage disruptive situations.
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license. Active DEA license. Graduate from an accredited school of medicine. Valid driver's license.
