Located inLewisville, North Carolina, our practice is part of theWake Forest Health Network, a physician-led, non-faculty multispecialty group affiliated withAtrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. We are dedicated to preventive care, chronic disease management, and improving the overall wellness of our community.

This role offers a unique opportunity to practiceprimary carewhile developing asports medicine programfrom the ground up. We're seeking a motivated physician eager to build and grow a dedicated sports medicine panel.

Position Highlights:

• Work-Life Balance:Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no inpatient responsibilities and limited shared on-call coverage.
• Diverse Patient Population:Treat patients of all ages in an engaging outpatient setting.
• Team Collaboration:Join an experienced team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, MAs, and administrative staff, in a supportive work environment.
• Professional Growth:Shape and establish a sports medicine program while enjoying opportunities for career development.

What You'll Do:

Physicians work to care for patients in a variety of ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. While physician specialties might vary, the commonality across specialties is that physicians primarily work to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. They often do this by performing physical exams, taking medical histories, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending a plan of treatment.

Physician Requirements:

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.
• Current NC Medical License, DEA, and BLS certification.
