Overview:The Medical Oncology and Hematology Division at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Medical Oncologist to join our growing practice.
The Medical Oncology and Hematology Division at Mercy Offers the Selected Candidate:
- A multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to cancer care and a Cancer Center fully accredited by the Commission on Cancer
- The opportunity to be part of a team of Board Certified physicians who diagnose and treat approximately 1,800 cancer cases per year
- Access to a growing patient base through Mercys Downtown Campus and Community Physician Sites one of the largest primary care networks in the Baltimore area
- Well-appointed patient care and infusion facilities including Glen Burnie/Anne Arundel County (9 treatment bays) and two infusion centers in Baltimore County, located in Overlea (9 treatment bays) and Lutherville (15 treatment bays)
- The reputation as regional leaders in breast cancer, gynecologic oncology and surgical oncology
- Work closely with Mercys network of top rated physicians including those in our renowned Centers of Excellence for Cancer Care, Womens Health, and Digestive Health

Qualifications:
Qualifications/Details for the Ideal Candidate:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology
- Must be interested in practicing at the Downtown Campus & Mercy's Community Physician Sites
- The position primarily provides outpatient care, but also includes inpatient consultative services inpatient care is provided by the Hospitalist or Intensivist services
- The successful candidate will play an integral role in the expansion of the Medical Oncology and Hematology program
