Adelphi is seeking a physician to provide care to patients at a correctional facility in Fluvanna, Virginia. The physician will provide general medical services including examinations and treatment to the inmate population.

Requirements: • Active VA License • BC/BE • DEA certificate Responsibilities: • Examine, diagnose, treat, counsel and prescribe medications for patients as needed. • Provide physical examinations and other general services. • Record a summary in each patient's medical chart after each consultation. • Make referrals to medical or clinical specialists when necessary. • Responsible for providing accurate prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. • Responsible for the improvement in patient health and quality of life. • Independently resolves daily medical issues. • Ensure guidance is received on policy or exceptional situations. • Other duties as assigned.
