Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Gynecologic Oncology Job Duration: Permanent Placement Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Active license required (or willing to obtain) Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology Must-Have: - Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology (to be completed prior to start) - Clean malpractice record preferred Job Description: - Join a well-established, high-volume practice with a seasoned staff and partner. - Enjoy a steady growth of new patients with a large and loyal referral base from multiple primary care and OB/GYN clinics. - Receive support from a dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and GYN-specialized Pathologists. - Practice within a physician-led medical group with a large team of physicians and advanced practice providers. - Receive midlevel provider support and full-spectrum ancillary support such as pelvic physical therapy, cancer nutrition, and counseling. - Participate in research trials and offer them to patients. - Work in a Level I trauma center with access to advanced surgical systems, clinical trials, and an onsite infusion center. - Number of patients seen per day ranges from 15-22, time at the discretion of the provider (new patient vs. follow-up). - Primarily seeing outpatient adults. - Call is shared 1:2. Do not often get called in as responsibilities include specific consults only during weekends while on call. - Access to University School of Medicine Tumor Board, clinical trials, research, etc. Teaching medical students is an option but not required. - Electronic Medical Records system: EPIC - Open to fellows graduating in 2024. - Cannot accept visa candidates. - Credentialing timeline: approximately 90 days.
